The story follows Liu Feng, a gaming otaku who unexpectedly gains the ability to travel between modern Earth and a fantasy world. Upon arriving in this new world, he is granted the position of a city lord in a backward and desolate town. Tasked with developing the city from scratch, he applies his strategic knowledge from video games to navigate this new world filled with political intrigue, powerful mythical creatures, and looming threats. Along the way, Liu Feng assembles a diverse and quirky group of allies, including a fierce cat-woman, a cunning fox-woman, and more.
As the story progresses, Liu Feng’s modern knowledge and unconventional thinking propel the city’s growth, but he must constantly deal with new challenges—rival city lords, hostile forces, and a deep-rooted conspiracy that could unravel his plans. Balancing city management and military strategy, Liu Feng’s journey is a mix of tactical development and action-packed encounters, all while striving to survive in this cutthroat world.
